With no set outcome in mind\, Kauss explored the movement of graphite and the subtle power of erasure\, allowing organic forms to emerge. The result is a series of unexpected\, evocative images moments of discovery that have shaped her ongoing artistic practice.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs her work evolved\, it began to draw interest from the health and wellness community. While exploring publication\, Kauss faced a serious health challenge that paused the project but not her creativity. She continued drawing and eventually returned to the book with renewed purpose. In 2025\, with encouragement from her artistic community\, Just Looking became a reality.
