Old Sloop Coffeehouse is proud to present a concert featuring Cole Nakoa & Treacher Saturday, March 3, at 7:30 PM at the handicap-accessible First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School St.
The trio of Cole Nakoa & Treacher joins the forces of three of the most soulful and engaging performers in the singer/songwriter world today. Brad Cole, Matt Nakoa and Robinson Treacher weave their sound, lyricism and inspiration to cultivate a live music that is as undeniably unique as it is powerful. These three gentlemen make music the likes of which you have never heard before.
Brad Cole's passionate and distinctive delivery of roots-based folk music, woven with the grit and groove of old school bossa and rhythm & blues moves the listener’s soul in a direction that is unexpected, yet perfectly familiar. Matt Nakoa is an internationally touring singer/songwriter, recently appearing at The White House, throughout India, and regularly with folk icon Tom Rush as a member of his band. Robinson Treacher involves the listener in the orchestrations of emotion that has been meticulously tempered into songs.
Coffee, tea, and a variety of delicious (and very popular) home-made baked pie and cake will be sold before and after the concert and at intermission.
