Description
Among their many awards, the Elias Quartet has won the 2010 BBC Music Magazine's Newcomer of the Year award, the 2014 Australian Art Music Award, as well as a Mentoring Scholarship from the Beethoven-haus in Bonn, and second prize in the Sidney Griller Prize at the 9th London String Quartet Competition. This year, the Quartet will complete a groundbreaking project; performing and recording the complete string quartets of Beethoven. This program is a part of that ambitious project.
