A ten-time Grammy Award winner and 2013 NEA Jazz Master, the charismatic Eddie Palmieri has enjoyed a musical career spanning over 50 years, both as a bandleader of Latin jazz orchestras and as a pianist of dizzying skill and spirit. The Jazz on the Rocks–Take 5 event is a gala that helps support Rockport Music's artistic and educational mission and impacts the Northshore community and beyond. The Jazz on the Rocks Gala event will include a Latin-inspired cocktail party, an exclusive live auction and an incredible concert by Eddie Palmieri. More details regarding the ticket prices and itinerary will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets will go on sale in September.
