Description
Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday noon - 5pm.
Reception Saturday, September 14 (2pm) & Gallery Talk with Betty Lou Schlemm (3pm)
Lynn Loscutoff had many friends, adventures, laughs, and paintings. In memory and celebration of what she contributed to this living world, an art show and sale will be held from Wednesday, September 11, 2019 to Saturday, September 24, 2019 at North Shore Arts Association in Gloucester, MA. During the reception, held on Saturday, September 14, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Betty Lou Schlemm will be offering a presentation. It is an honor to announce that Betty Lou shared a friendship with Lynn for over 50 years. They painted together, travelled together, and as will be experienced during the presentation, laughed together.
Lynn Loscutoff is an impressionist artist who displayed joyful emotions on canvas. Her paintings capture scenes from all over the world, including Cape Ann, California, Florida, France, and Africa. She is the author of four books: Traveler’s Guide to Painting Watercolor, A Traveler’s Guide to Painting in Oils, Painters’ Wild Workshop: 12, and Loscy and Me: The Artist and the Boston Celtics Legend, Jim Loscutoff, a Scrapbook/ Memoir. Lynn felt that "painters were philosophers, psychologists, mathematicians, chemists, scientists and poets," and lived her life this way.
They say the worst thing a painting can do is sit in a closet unseen. Please join us to share in the delight of celebrating Lynn’s life and works with the opportunity to purchase a piece. Travel the world with us as expressed in this art and give the opportunity for the art to take on a life of its own. Exhibit to be held at the North Shore Arts Association in Gloucester, Massachusetts from September 11, 2019 through September 24, 2019 with a reception at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 14th.
