Manchester Public Library's theme this year for Manchester Reads is "Resiliency".
In keeping with that theme, please join us on Sunday, April 7 at 2 PM when Groton resident, Craig John, will present a multimedia program of his ascents of Mt. Everest. Craig first climbed Everest in 1998 by the North Ridge on the Tibetan side of the mountain. Recently he returned to Everest to make an ascent by the Southeast Ridge in Nepal.
Craig has been a professional Mountain Guide for 32 years and guides for International Mountain Guides based in Washington State just outside of Mt. Rainier National Park. He has led over 65 high altitude expeditions world wide.
