Description

The Panorama Film Festival returns to Salem for its second year,
spotlighting 19 films by international queer and trans filmmakers under 30.

Join us at the Peabody Essex Museum on Friday December 29th from 7 to 10 pm for an
opening party hosted by drag artists Julie J. and Miz Diamond Wigfall. The special
screening event promises surprises, photo-ops, and captivating performances, including
drag acts and a special showcase by the queer youth organization NAGLY in
collaboration with Love your Labels.

The celebration continues throughout the weekend with a diverse selection of films
screened during museum hours on Saturday and Sunday. Please check suggested
ages and content warnings for each screening.

If you are not local to Salem, all three days of the festival will be livestreamed on YouTube!

The mission of Panorama is to celebrate the wide diversity of experience and talent within the trans
and queer young filmmaking community both in front of as well as behind the camera.
To create space for trans and queer artists to tell their own and appreciate others stories
without pressure to advocate for an entire community. To simply exist as a trans or
queer person in the world is revolutionary enough.
