Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate The Grand Opening of Gloucester Music Works!
Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the Grand Opening of Gloucester Music Works' new facility. Come tour the new space and enjoy light refreshments with music provided by Gloucester Music Works teachers while helping welcome this exciting addition to Gloucester’s arts community.
Gloucester Music Works is a nonprofit music school providing one-on-one music lessons for students of all ages and abilities, with affordable rates, free lessons for families in need, and loaner instruments for students to practice at home. Since launching its pilot program in November 2025, the school has already enrolled more than 50 students in guitar, piano, violin, and voice.
The new 3,100 SF facility will greatly expand their capacity and includes four private lesson rooms, a group music room, a drum studio, and space for recitals and band practice. New offerings will include saxophone, flute, clarinet, drums, and a songwriting course, with additional programs planned for 2026.
