Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly perform a unique and thrilling blend of traditional American and Celtic folk music and dance, along with original songs and poetry. The highly praised husband-wife duo blends gorgeous vocals with an astounding array of instruments including the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, tin whistle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, limberjacks, feet and more. Cathy Clasper-Torch will join Aubrey and Elwood for this performance. Cathy is a remarkable fiddler, cellist and vocalist.
Hailing from our neighboring historic fishing town of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Emerald Rae is both a small-town girl steeped in cherished traditions and a world-class artist breaking new ground with her sophisticated approach to rhythmic and percussive fiddling.
Coffee, tea, and a variety of delicious (and very popular) home-made baked pie and cake will be sold before and after the concert and at intermission.
