Description

The B3 kings has been a on going project for about 10 years, it started as a group strictly playing 60s Organ Boogaloo type music from Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jack Mcduff, Lou Donaldson to name a few. They have always looked at this project as a gathering of great local players paying homage to that genre of music. The band now consists of Thomas Arey on drums, Marc Hickox on bass, Rusty Scott on Hammond B3 and Johnny Trama "leader and original band member" on guitar. They have been together for 4+ years and all come at this music with  connection to soul, blues, jazz improvisation and the spirit of of rock & roll.
