On Wednesday March 29, at 7pm, Trident Gallery Director Matthew Swift and Trident Live Art Series Director Sarah Slifer Swift present Towers and Other Thoughts in Performance: A Fundraiser for Refugees in Gloucester at The Floating Lotus. The performance will include artwork by Susan Erony and an exploration through spoken text, music, and dance of the ideas and materials informing her work. Inspired by Franz Kafka's Parables, notably one about the Tower of Babel, the performance features 8 performers from the community and explores themes of division, unity, and ultimately the power and beauty of diversity. This event will also provide the opportunity to learn more about the refugee families who have settled in Gloucester and how we can support them as a community. $15 suggested minimum donation.
