This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week, M-F.
SeniorCare Inc. offers an exciting opportunity to join a nutrition team dedicated to empowering older adults to live independently. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist who cares deeply about nutrition to oversee monthly menu planning and ensure that home-delivered meals adhere to therapeutic goals and dietary standards. The ideal candidate will also lead inspiring community nutrition workshops and provide nutritional counseling. This is a 25-hour per week position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the menu team to ensure client meals meet nutrition standards.
 - Support compliance with Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE) nutrition standards, menu planning, and nutrient analysis.
 - Evaluate standardized recipes, audit client meals, and conduct quality assurance measures.
 - Conduct nutrient analysis of meals utilizing Computrition software program and following procedures established by AGE
 - Attend monthly menu meetings.
 - Create and produce monthly menus for distribution.
 - Collaborate with referral partners and medical professionals.
 - Provide nutritional counseling and respond to client concerns over the phone and in person.
 - Provide nutrition education for consumers and monitor sanitation practices at meal sites and catering facilities.
 - Conduct annual sanitation trainings for nutrition and COA staff and volunteers.
 
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
 - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
 - Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, public health nutrition, or nutrition education from an accredited program and at least two (2) years of community nutrition experience.
 - ServSafe certification or obtained within four (4) months of hire.
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
 - Familiarity with current nutritional standards, practices, and procedures.
 - Experience conducting group nutrition education.
 - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 - Commitment to serving older adults with sensitivity to aging issues.

Starting range: $33.00 per hour. The range for this position is established based on internal equity and market data. Individual rates may vary within the established range based on directly relevant experience and credentials. Final offers are not negotiable.
