Rockport artist Leslie Heffron works in various media. Her work reflects her love for both Cape Ann and for rural life in her home state of Pennsylvania. Her most recent work celebrates life at Pigeon Cove harbor where she spent a great deal of time outdoors during COVID. Thanks to the generosity of the lobstermen and their families, she received a wealth of knowledge about the lobstering industry. That knowledge was translated into paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, and short films. She is represented by The Salted Cod Arthouse on Rocky Neck, Gloucester. The artist earned her Diploma in Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and her Master’s Degree in Art Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Her work has been featured in Cape Ann Magazine, North Shore Magazine, and Yankee Magazine.
