Gloucester, Massachusetts — On Friday, January 30, 2026, the Gloucester-based fishing vessel Lily Jean sank approximately twenty-two miles off Cape Ann, resulting in the tragic loss of seven crew members. In response to this devastating event, the Gloucester Fishing Community Preservation Fund (GFCPF) has established the Lily Jean Fund to provide direct financial assistance to the families of those who perished.
