Abstracts On The Coast brings a rare contemporary voice to Rockport's rich artistic legacy. With some newly created works and award-winning pieces, the show captures the spirit and mystery of the coastal landscape through abstraction, offering viewers the artist's novel perspective of the land and the seacoast.

About the Artist:
Jesse Mireles is a Mexican-born abstract artist whose work blends emotional spontaneity
with bold visual language. Prior to his transition to abstract art, Mireles enjoyed an
internationally recognized career as a graphic designer and illustrator. His abstract paintings
are known for their expressive energy, layered surfaces, and evocative themes, often
inspired by nature and intuition. Abstracts On The Coast marks his first solo show at the
Rockport Art Association & Museum.
