Meet & Greet The Adorable & Adoptable Cats & Dogs of the Cape Ann Animal Aid at Hammond Castle Museum
Did you know the Hammonds provided forever homes for well over a dozen cats, more than half a dozen dogs, and a number of tropical birds and koi fish between 1929 and 1965.
While few of us can provide an entire castle for our pets like the Hammonds did, the good news is all they really need is lots of love!
In keeping with the tradition of the Hammond’s love of animals, Hammond Castle Museum is excited to team up with the Cape Ann Animal Aid on June 25 from 10am to 1pm, here at the Museum, to introduce you to some of their adorable and adoptable cats and dogs. Please note: Those who find their forever friend may fill out an adoption application on-site, but guests will not be able to leave with their new companions. The adoption process requires the completion of background checks and reference calls. Therefore, all adoptions would take place later that day or the next day at the Cape Ann Animal Aid shelter.
There is no fee to attend this meet & greet event which will be held outside on the ocean-facing lawn, but tickets will be required to tour the Museum.
Hammond Castle Museum is proud to donate 10% of the day’s tour proceeds to benefit the Cape Ann Animal Aid.
