Meet Your MC & Auctioneer: Al Temkin

As the owner and energy behind Al Temkin Productions, I am a licensed fundraising auctioneer and professional Master of Ceremonies based right here on the North Shore in Beverly, Massachusetts. I partner with non-profits, schools, and civic organizations across New England and Naples, Florida, to elevate special events and help groups smash their fundraising goals.

After building a successful career in the financial industry, I transitioned into full-time event hosting and charity auctioneering. This path was deeply inspired by my late, great friend, Don Kelly—a beloved local auctioneer who originally encouraged me to get on the stage. Following Don’s passing, organizations began reaching out to me to carry on his incredible legacy. It sparked a deeply meaningful second chapter for me, entirely dedicated to community support.

I bring high energy, sharp wit, and a focus on absolute engagement to every room I host. For me, a successful auction isn't just about showing up on event day. I work closely with committees from the early planning stages through execution—advising on item selection, live bidding strategies, and paddle raises to design a smooth, high-impact program that keeps the audience smiling and maximizes donor participation.
